Project "Home School"
(Educational)
This is our newest project which consists
of educating preschool ages from three to five. Kathy, my wife, has
several years of training in ECE from the local college here in Santa
Cruz, CA and her instructors are Master Teachers in the field of Early
Childhood Education. She has worked for some of the better schools in
the area. Also, my daughter Erin earned her Bachelors Degree from
Lee University in Human Development with an emphasis in Business. She
also has a great deal of preschool employment experience.
We embrace this opportunity now eagerly and yet with much wisdom.
Our home will be the location for the Home School for children.
This school is a preschool emphasis from 3 – 5 years of age. We
will be able to educate and inspire many children who would not be able
to normally go to a preschool of this caliber because of the high
costs. We will charge a minimal fee, on a sliding scale, for each
child to make it affordable for those that our unemployed and
struggling with educational costs. As you can read here the dream is
real and the expectation is already becoming a reality as we have two
children enrolled at this time.
What we are
asking of you, is to donate toward the gear needed for the Home School,
such as, educational toys, outdoor motor equipment, art and educational
supplies, circle time carpet, and preschool curriculum. Most of these
supplies can be purchased used. The cost of this equipment and supplies
has been estimated at $3,500.00 dollars. No donations will be used for
operational funds.
